Tea Light Lanterns

If you use up all the jelly, jams, pickles, fruit, or any thing that is in a glass jar, don't throw those jars away. There is a great use for those glass jars you have leftover. All you need is a glass jar, some glass marbles, hot glue, paint, and a battery powered tea light. First thing you want to do is wash any access food from the  jars, and let dry.

Then let your glue gun heat up, while the glue is heating up take the time to paint the lid any color you want. After that start glueing the marbles on to the jar, until the jar is completely covered.

After the jar is covered let glue and paint dry, then take a battery powered tea light and place in the bottom of the jar, put the lid on, then watch the magic. This is a beautiful piece for dinner parties, night lighs or any kind of thing you might see useful.

Goodwill Treasure

Jewelry Box Before
I go to the Goodwill store about once or twice a mounth looking for a diamond in the rough. Something that is beat up that might be something beautiful again. There are somethings that are passed over, and don't seem to mean have any value to others. For my wife and I there is always treasure to be found around every Dcorner of any Goodwill or thrift shop.

Painted
The jewelry box you see here didn't take a lot of work a all. At first there was a piece if glass in the middle for a picture wich we removed. My wif thaught it would be a better idea to put something else there instead. We added a little paint to add a pop of color. Afterwards an add of jewels for decoration.

Jewelry Box Finished
This piece took about 2-3 hours to complete. My wife and I really enjoy bringing old things that nobody wants anymore back to life again. This jewelry box that was junk to someone else, is now a beautiful treasure.
